A Guide To Food And Farming In Middle Tennessee
Spring 2013
 or
 or
We do our best to keep this guide accurate, but farming is a dynamic occupation, things change fast. It is a good idea to call and verify any of the information in this guide before you plan a trip to a farm. Also, please be considerate. The farms in this guide are working farms as well as residences in many cases. If you think of yourself more as a valued guest than a customer you'll have a great experience.

Call to Farmers

We are looking for farmers growing crops, or anyone we may have missed. If you are not included in this guide and would like to make sure your farm, farmers market or retail operation is listed in the future, please get in touch. You can call Lisa at 1-615-677-6645 or lisa@localtable.net or use our online form.
Thanks for growing!

(coming to the table?)
We make no guarantee as to the quality of any produce or product from a farm or to anyone's growing practices. We're only providing a guide to local farms and invite you to find your favorites.

I've been at Pratt's place last Saturday, June 24. That was whole drama/comedy story. My plan was to pick some peaches, and my car got broken a few houses before my destination. The Pratt's neighbor Brenda took me there on her track, we have picked peaches, found my cell phone I've lost on the field. The owners, Brenda and other local people were so kind, gentle, warm to me! The tow track driver (local man) was nice person to talk to while were driving back to my home with peaches and broken car. I'm telling all people I know to go there to buy fruits and everything else they have there. Bless their harts and souls! We need more people like them!

We went there last weekend (9-11/9-12) and their sign says closed for the season. I guess we should have called ahead, but all the web pages said open through Oct.
