Ecotone is a highly diversified farm at the northwest edge of Davidson County, just 15 miles from downtown Nashville. Ecotone Farm consists of approximately 200 acres of rolling pastures, hardwood forests, and a number of watersheds and ponds. We are committed to farming for local tables by offering organic, pastured poultry, acorn-finished heritage pork, and grass-fed beef and lamb on a year-round basis. At Ecotone, we are also committed to agrarian education, and invite public and private groups alike to schedule visits with the farm to experience local agriculture - and especially animal husbandry - on a direct and personal basis. All the livestock on our farm is raised in an Animal Welfare Approved (AWA) manner.

We do our best to keep this guide accurate, but farming is a dynamic occupation, things change fast. It is a good idea to call and verify any of the information in this guide before you plan a trip to a farm. Also, please be considerate. The farms in this guide are working farms as well as residences in many cases. If you think of yourself more as a valued guest than a customer you'll have a great experience.

Call to Farmers

We are looking for farmers growing crops, or anyone we may have missed. If you are not included in this guide and would like to make sure your farm, farmers market or retail operation is listed in the future, please get in touch. You can call Lisa at 1-615-677-6645 or lisa@localtable.net or use our online form.
Thanks for growing!

(coming to the table?)
We make no guarantee as to the quality of any produce or product from a farm or to anyone's growing practices. We're only providing a guide to local farms and invite you to find your favorites.
