Season: March - October (In season now)
What's here: (Click for recipes) Garlic, potatoes, Dry Beans
For our 2017 season, we are offering an original Hands On CSA called Genuine Potato, Dry Bean, & Garlic Shared Agriculture Program [SAP]. As a member, you will be able to experience first hand what it means to grow your very own Potato, Dry Bean, & Garlic Storage Crops in just 4 Hands On Farm Visits. Members get to be apart of a ONE OF A KIND EDUCATIONAL type of plant, grow, observe, learn, harvest, eat, & experience engagement. The [SAP] is an excellent extracurricular activity that will CONNECT you to a Farm & your Food like no other. Twenty-one varieties of potatoes, 10 varieties of garlic, & 8 varieties of dry beans. A Hands On Outdoor Farming Education for Families & a Premier Experience for Foodies. If you are already a member of a CSA, no worries, our [SAP] serves as a supplement, not a substitute. [SAP] starts around early spring & goes through early summer. Deadline for Sign Up is March 20th.

We do our best to keep this guide accurate, but farming is a dynamic occupation, things change fast. It is a good idea to call and verify any of the information in this guide before you plan a trip to a farm. Also, please be considerate. The farms in this guide are working farms as well as residences in many cases. If you think of yourself more as a valued guest than a customer you'll have a great experience.

Call to Farmers

We are looking for farmers growing crops, or anyone we may have missed. If you are not included in this guide and would like to make sure your farm, farmers market or retail operation is listed in the future, please get in touch. You can call Lisa at 1-615-677-6645 or or use our online form.
Thanks for growing!

(coming to the table?)
We make no guarantee as to the quality of any produce or product from a farm or to anyone's growing practices. We're only providing a guide to local farms and invite you to find your favorites.
